Save Customer Measurements in TexPOS

Measurements written on paper get lost, misread or copied wrongly, and every mistake means a remake. This short tutorial shows how customer files work in TexPOS: add a customer once, save their measurements properly, and have them ready for every future order.

Step by step

1. Open the customers screen. You see all customers in one list, with quick search.
2. Add a new customer. Enter the name, phone, WhatsApp number, emirate and address.
3. Create a measurement set. Give it a clear name, for example “Kandura” or “Abaya”, and mark it as the default if it’s the one they order most.
4. Enter the measurements on the body diagram. The diagram shows exactly where each measurement belongs, including shaila and ghutra measurements where needed, so the tailor reads them without guessing.
5. Contact the customer. Call or message them on WhatsApp straight from their customer card, for example when an order is ready.
6. Check their history. Every past order and any amount still due is shown in the customer’s file.

• The body diagram reduces the misunderstandings that cause remakes.
• You can see immediately who has an overdue balance.
• Duplicate a set with one tap when only a small change is needed.

A simple habit that saves remakes

Before confirming an order, pick the saved measurement set on the sales screen instead of typing new numbers. If the customer’s size has changed, duplicate the set and edit it, so you keep the history of both. This keeps the counter, the tailor and the customer working from the same numbers.
